Within Law of Attraction and Human Potential philosophical circles it has long been asserted that positive emotions and desires are the driving forces for achieving one's most expansive goals. How you emotionally feel from day to day is therefore an excellent right track/wrong track barometer.

The Mind/Body/Spirit Connection

Limiting emotions such as anger or hate can sabotage the best of well-laid plans. Obviously emotions can positively or negatively affect the mind, heart and other areas of the body, Here, Kuan Yin states her unique perspective on how emotions can be stored in the solar plexus:

“The trauma of everyday living causes the chakras to get shoved around, disconnected. When resting, one can benefit from light touches to the heart, stomach and head, connecting the chakras to one another and also from the inside out. Life is so intense. It can scatter one’s energy…Adolescents are so torn, imbalanced, either 'stuck' in their stomachs or lower chakras. When there is so much pain in the heart it naturally migrates to the stomach. The pain goes to the stomach because the navel, and all that it represents; maternal comfort and nurturing, is there. In fact, this pain is stored in the stomach until the issues causing the pain are finally resolved.” Kuan Yin (The Living Word of Kuan Yin)

According to Kuan Yin, just as the earth and each person possess a unique vibration and aura, so too do each of the body chakras (or energy centers) possess a unique frequency. Each chakra is its own repository, containing a gestalt of beliefs, emotions and associated parallel-life experiences. These act as vortices that combined form the unique vibration of an individual, which in turn magnetizes actual physical events.
Kuan Yin states that no time exists and "the story is already over". Consciousness therefore exists outside the realms of time and space. When experiencing (in time/in sequence) physical symptom's associated with a certain area of the body such as the heart or solar plexus, we assume that the heartache or stomachache is a purely in-time, physical event. However, Kuan Yin maintains that beliefs (along with their powerful emotions) associated with a particular physical area create the electromagnetic blueprints for any physical event.
A hypnosis technique referred to as “Parts Work” perfectly demonstrates the above statement. Parts Work allows one to access deeper layers of consciousness associated with specific areas of the body. Counted down to his or her trance state, one has an opportunity to discover their counterpart out-of-time intentions, beliefs and emotions associated with a particular chakra. For example, an “aching heart” has often been associated with the emotions of grief, disappointment, rejection or even jealousy. Stomachaches, on the other hand, are sometimes associated with the emotions of anger, impatience or frustration.
Enduring a painful injury during waking consciousness, that same individual, during trance, may discover that the injury actually has emotions. Clients (when in trance) describe the injured 'part' itself as capable of expressing and processing acceptance, happiness and worthiness and/or anger, sadness and unworthiness. Conversely, clients might spontaneously experience trance abreactions: adverse physical symptoms simulating specific emotions in the cellular memory:

“We have,” elucidates Kuan Yin, “at least five brainwave frequency ranges for our survival. They are the built-in defenses of human consciousness. They, similar to the layers, auras around the body) represent layers of consciousness.”
“Kuan Yin is showing me the layers of density on our planet,” continues Lena. “They can be compared to the layers (of energy, karma) coating our bodies. The various brainwaves help us to go beyond, under the layers of karma.
“ Gravity holds our physical bodies in place. Our skin holds the spirit in place. Heavy layers of energy, karma (around the earth and the body) weighs us down. Every layer is different. The (brain periodicity) waves represent the different layers of consciousness…Each brainwave as a sort of gelatinous substance, layer upon layer; much like the onion skin metaphor. Accessing a certain layer accesses certain abilities, i.e. trance skills in the alpha range, dream lucidity in the theta range, etc. They all work together perfectly. When an individual “hits” a certain layer, he can heal certain issues. All the brainwave periodicities work well together on the earth plain for purposes of survival. Instinct “kicks in” when one’s survival is at stake. In the alternative brainwave periodicities (and also in the chakras), many issues (and sometimes even ailments) can be healed.”

If, when experiencing hypnosis, an individual chooses to pursue “parts work” with (for example) a part of the self that is angry, or adverse body symptoms, he/she is opening communication with the personal unconscious. So it is not just a matter of pronouncing yourself as happy one day and sad the next. To be true to you is to examine any limiting beliefs lurking behind the potentially destructive emotions. And as Kuan Yin maintains we are living in a paradigm created from the "better than", "not enough" and "survival of the fittest" beliefs, do not be surprised if you discover one or all of these 'milling about'.
Caught in the compelling challenges and emotions of daily existence, assessing and maintaining one's emotions and ideal reality can be elusive. If a person could, however, make a commitment to schedule a time each day for focusing upon the moment: why he or she is so blessed to be where they are. Developing such a positive mindset, it would become increasingly easier to remember what Kuan Yin advises: that there exists "only eternity, knowledge and bliss".
