“Being present means an absence of past and future. Bringing the mind into the present is the link to eternity. True meditation is the acceptance of no past or future. I’m understanding how these are amazingly brave concepts-that there are only moments upon moments to be lived. It’s almost inconceivable!"
One no longer has to take Law of Attraction precepts on faith. Even skeptics are marveling at the amazing new scientific findings offering riveting substantiation for LOA. Eastern goddess of compassion, Kuan Yin beautifully illustrates how emerging scientific discoveries point to humans being hardwired for creating their own destiny. Also corroborating ancient spiritual teachings with the newer scientific data, The Living Word of Kuan Yin <A HREF="Click'>http://www.amazon.com/Living-Word-Kuan-Yin/dp/1419646400">Click here to go to the webpage.</A> opens vast new psychological territories, linking spirit with science.
Kuan Yin, speaks of collective (soul) agreements, spiritual contracts comprised of certain mindsets, creating a specific orientation for personal as well as global realities. She wants us to understand how limiting collective agreements are responsible for much of humanity’s despair, and that we have greater control over our reality than we might believe.
With the concepts of reincarnation, karma, free will and soul agreements forming her spiritual bulwark, Kuan Yin precepts are as unique and authentic as they are compelling. Placing nurturing and motherly love at the foundation of her teachings, Kuan Yin decrees, “Loving kindness is the most potent energy of all.”
However, Kuan Yin insists that what is spiritual is also scientific:
“Remember to marvel at the natural world when you’ve had enough, for the time being, of the human realm. Science helps one marvel. Scientists don’t think of themselves as being spiritual. However, the knowledge they bring to the world is very spiritual."
While furthering my hypnosis education, I discovered myself focused upon the importance of belief and intention: their profound influence upon events manifesting in each of the five human brainwave periodicities. I was fascinated to learn that newer hypnosis philosophies; specifically Client-Centered Hypnosis techniques teach that a client’s intention and trance-goal determines the structure and focus of each hypnotic experience. The clear difference is that traditional hypnotic inductions utilize standardized scripts usually not requiring client-input.
Conversely, Client-Centered hypnosis provides a customized script based entirely upon the individual client’s issues, goals and even phraseology. This is established during the all-important intake period and is a crucial first step in setting the stage for one’s inner work. Utilizing the client’s own goals and phraseology during the hypnosis countdown as well as during the actual trance experience the hypnotist helps to personalize and create a familiarity the client can identify with. Further, one’s intention and words have the power to activate specific and relevant memories.
Having experienced this process, personally, I understand the power of words and intentions, how they can greatly assist in accessing profound meaning and answers for one’s life. Client-centered hypnosis demonstrates how the five EEG periodicities of the mind (including trance and dreams) are interconnected: how one's intentions and thoughts instantaneously direct myriad mind and body processes. Indeed, I am now certain that the above techniques were instrumental in helping my client Lena Lees achieve her deep trance-level and ultimately her connection with Eastern deity of compassion, Kuan Yin.
Kuan Yin asserts we are living in “the written word of our humanity.” With Lena as her channel, the Goddess’ clear and cohesive words were spoken in a stunningly forthright and accessible manner allowing for this vibrant compilation of her canons.
Infinite font of wisdom, Kuan Yin seeks to unsnarl the cosmic web of beliefs entangling humanity. Teachings from the earliest sessions on, flow into and merge with more advanced Kuan Yin theories. Integral to the puzzle of life, each piece fits perfectly, culminating as her opus, gift to humanity. A profusion of shapes, Kuan Yin draws upon her vast repertoire of archetypes demonstrating the plasticity of the soul. Beautiful young maiden, mother or wizened crone! Death and rebirth! Undulating rock formations and fathomless galaxies! These are but samplings of her clever and boundless transformational powers. What Kuan Yin is attempting through her mind-expanding teachings and metamorphisms is to show how to put the pieces together into the meaningful mosaic that is our Authentic Self.
The Quantum You
Once, I posited a question to Kuan Yin regarding theories concerning “past and future lives”. Kuan Yin's reply was swift and emphatic:
“You’ve already lived any future lives, all of your lives! There is no such thing as time. We’re all one huge family, a great continuum. Don’t underestimate the power of the love created in your homes and families. This love has an immense potency, the power to influence other’s lives in a positive way.”
Science now supports the theory of a Quantum universe. Understanding that thoughts and their resulting realities are instantaneous: that time can be manipulated, one suddenly comprehends the benefits of developing an ability to monitor and articulate the contents of ones conscious mind. This can be more readily understood if we follow Kuan Yin's example:
“Kuan Yin is telling me that instead of seeing things and events separately, we should be perceiving them as part of the whole. Conversely, she is saying we also forget to notice the little things, a single stone or grain of sand. So, the existential question is 'when to notice the little things and when to see things as a whole'? A powerful meditation when contemplating the oneness of everything is to find something’s unique qualities. For instance, observe an island’s wholeness and then the uniqueness of a single stone. Westerners are dealing with this dichotomy on a grand scale. However, Kuan Yin wants me to emphasize that this meditation is simple but powerful. It’s like physical exercise. One can practice it just once a day or as often as one likes. Other examples to meditate upon besides an island and an individual stone on the island beach are faces in a crowd or a leaf on a tree. Each person in the crowd is, naturally, unique and yet, at that same moment, part of the whole. The same is true for leaves on the trees.
“Practicing this deceptively easy meditation helps each of us to see reality. When Kuan Yin refers to “reality”, she really means truth, the importance of life. Some need to practice distancing themselves from materialism while others need to get more grounded in the material world. This meditation specifically balances these two types of people."
Almost always encountered near bamboo, water and beautiful rock formations, during the weekly hypnosis sessions, Kuan Yin effortlessly became her surroundings. During a memorable passage, she manifests as the center of an atomic bomb so to demonstrate her (and our) indestructibility. Witness to this integral process, how could Lena or I have guessed that those initial trance encounters would sow the seeds for such a life-altering event, Lena Lee’s epiphany of the deity, Kuan Yin?
